Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F
  2. Prepare compound butter: Combine butter, garlic powder and fresh parsley. Use plastic wrap to shape into a small log and chill.
  3. Generously season steaks and wrap a strip of bacon around the sides of each steak, securing with toothpicks.
  4. Heat butter and olive oil in a cast iron skillet set over medium high heat until oil is shimmering.
  5. Add steaks and sear on all sides.
  6. Place skillet in oven for 7-10 minutes or until steaks are cooked to preference. Let steaks rest for 5 minutes.
  7. While steak is cooking and resting, prepare Green Giant Vegetables according to pack instructions.
  8. To serve, top each steak with a pat of compound butter and arrange Green Giant Vegetables on the side.
