Bacon Wrapped Tenderloin Recipe

This steakhouse classic is simply elegant and simply delicious.

INGREDIENTS

Compound Butter:

3 Tbsp. butter, softened

½ tsp garlic powder

1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

 

2 tenderloin steaks or filets, 1 ½ to 2-inch thick

2 strips thin-cut bacon

salt and pepper

steak seasoning, if desired

1 Tbsp. olive oil

1 Tbsp. butter

1 package Green Giant® Restaurant Style Asparagus, Roasted Red Potatoes & Onions

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 450°F

Prepare compound butter: Combine butter, garlic powder and fresh parsley. Use plastic wrap to shape into a small log and chill.

Generously season steaks and wrap a strip of bacon around the sides of each steak, securing with toothpicks.

Heat butter and olive oil in a cast iron skillet set over medium high heat until oil is shimmering.

Add steaks and sear on all sides.

Place skillet in oven for 7-10 minutes or until steaks are cooked to preference. Let steaks rest for 5 minutes.

While steak is cooking and resting, prepare Green Giant Vegetables according to pack instructions.

To serve, top each steak with a pat of compound butter and arrange Green Giant Vegetables on the side.
