Add an extra helping of veggies to dinner with this crave-worthy comfort food classic.
1 (14-ounce) package Green Giant® Marinara Veggie Spiral Skillets
1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese
1 egg
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 1/4 cups Victoria® Garlic & Basil Marinara Sauce
8 no-boil lasagna noodles, regular or gluten-free
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 9×9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
Place unopened Green Giant Marinara Veggie Spiral Skillets in a microwave and cook for 7 minutes on high. Let sit for 1 minute.
Pour contents into a bowl and stir to combine.
In a separate bowl stir together ricotta, egg, ¼ cup parmesan, parsley, salt and pepper.
Spread ¼ cup marinara sauce in bottom of prepared pan. Add two noodles. (Noodles will expand when cooking).
Spread noodles with 1/3 of the ricotta mixture, followed by ½ cup of the Green Giant spirals, ½ cup mozzarella and ½ cup sauce.
Add two more noodles and layer with half of the remaining ricotta, ½ cup Green Giant Spirals, ½ cup mozzarella and ½ cup sauce.
Add two more noodles and layer with remaining ricotta, half of the remaining Green Giant spirals, ½ cup mozzarella and ½ cup sauce.
Add two more noodles and top with ½ cup sauce, remaining spirals, remaining mozzarella and ¼ cup parmesan cheese.
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10- minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
