Cheeseburger Tot Casserole

Kids love the “secret veggie” casserole filled with all the flavors of summer grilling.

  1. Preheat oven to 450° Arrange Veggie Tots in a single layer on a large baking sheet and bake for 17-20 minutes or until golden and crisp.

  2. Meanwhile, add ground beef and chopped onion to a large skillet and cook until meat is cooked through. Drain any excess grease.

  3. Add garlic powder, Worcestershire, salt and pepper to beef mixture and simmer for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat, cover and keep warm.

  4. When tots have finished baking, remove from oven and reduce heat to 350°

  5. Spray a 2-quart casserole with cooking spray.

  6. Spread beef mixture in bottom of casserole and top with 1 cup of the shredded cheese.

  7. Arrange cooked Veggie Tots on top of beef and cheese, then sprinkle with remaining ½ cup shredded cheese.

  8. Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is melted.

  9. While casserole is baking, combine all Special Sauce ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until combined.

  10. Slice and chop all Burger Slaw ingredients and toss together in a separate bowl.

  11. To serve, cut casserole into squares and top with Slaw. Serve Special Sauce on the side.
